          I  normally use   e-book pro   by white dove books.

This book was simply laid out in    Open Office   and converted to PDF with a click from the drop down file menu then burned to disc as well as originating a download link.

Adobe Reader is as good as any...but  e writer pro has lots of advantages such as choice of,font colour etcetc .

There are lots of e - book cover software available on the net ..I prefer to produce a dvd case then photograph it ..much more professional and dosn't look cheap ..
